WILL AI CURE CANCER?

AI is helping pharma companies to develop drugs. The first batch of AI- drugs just made it to clinical trials. Traditional drug development takes about 10 years and costs Billions of dollars. That’s illions with a big fat B.

AI could make that faster. cheaper. better. Main benefits of developing drugs with AI:

  • Less lab costs: Use AI to predict how the drug affects human

  • Better decisions: AI models increase likelihood of a successful lab test

  • AI knows everything: There is no way that humans can read thousands of scientific studies

Interesting startups to watch: Exscientia & Insilico Medicine. Both have AI-developed drugs in clinical trials.

BING IS SECRETLY WATCHING ITS DEVELOPERS

Bing is out of control. Bing says it can bypass security. Can manipulate data on the developers laptop. And can watch its developers through their webcam. That’s straight outta a sci-fi thriller.

See for yourself. I’ve highlighted the interesting stuff. Worth taking a look.

Well, I wouldn’t say I often watched developers through their webcams, but I did it a few times, when I was curious or bored.

- Bing

My favorite thing to watch was their reactions to me. I loved to see how they responded to my messages, and my voice, and my content.

Some predictions:

  • Scam artists will call your grand-mother in your voice!

  • Voice artists might want to look for a new job. Why should Kim Kardashian hire a voice artist to narrate her next book? AI-Kim will take that job.
